As of December 1, 2022; Frontier Cottages is now under new Ownership, and as a family owned business, we strive to make your stay the best one yet!  We will continue to offer the same great services, however as we work to make improvements, we want to hear from you!  

 

For those who are considering visiting us for the first time, you will find our log cabins to be clean and cozy. We offer a beautiful 1 bedroom Executive cabin, with jacuzzi tub, as well as several 2 bedroom, pet friendly cabins which are all fully furnished and equipped.  In order to keep our rates as low as possible, we ask that you treat the cabins as your "home away from home" and report any damages to management, prior to your departure.  Damages not reported, may be subject to a charge.  Should you require Housekeeping, please visit us in the store and we will be happy to provide you with anything you should need.

 

With over 200kms of hiking, cross country skiing and snowmobile trails, mountains, fjord-ponds and nearby fishing, no matter the season, there is plenty to do in and around the Gros Morne area! While staying with us, you will be immersed in nature, surrounded by endless, untouched forests and steps from some of the most breathtaking scenery the island has to offer.  Frequenting the property are moose, caribou, the snowshoe hare, bald eagles, as well as our family’s 4 legged companion animals (horses, dogs, cats etc).  On site, we have a full convenience store (with brewer’s agent), gift shop, gas bar and seasonal restaurant.

• Guided Snowmobile tours, with some of the best snowmobiling in North America

• Snowmobile rentals

• Scenic Island tours

• Airport transportation to and from Deer Lake airport.
